When your order is dispatched

Every product shows one of two labels. The label describes our handling time, not the delivery date.

“In Stock — Ships Same Day”

• Ordered Monday–Friday before 3:00 PM Pacific: dispatched that same day.
• Ordered after 3:00 PM Pacific, on a weekend, or on a US federal holiday: dispatched the next business day.
• In every case, dispatched no later than 2 business days after your order.

“In Stock — Ships in 7 Business Days”

These items are prepared to order, so they are dispatched within 7 business days. If an order contains any 7-business-day item, the whole order ships together on that timeline. If you would like in-stock items sent first, email us and we will let you know whether a split shipment is possible.

The cutoff runs on Pacific Time, so 3:00 PM Pacific is 6:00 PM Eastern. We dispatch Monday through Friday only.

Transit and delivery

Once your order is handed to the carrier, transit takes up to 3 business days within the contiguous United States. Carriers deliver Monday through Saturday, never on Sunday, and weekends and federal holidays are not counted.

• Dispatched Monday: estimated delivery by Thursday.
• Dispatched Wednesday: estimated delivery by the following Monday.
• Dispatched Friday: estimated delivery by the following Wednesday.

Your confirmation email and receipt show both dates for your order: the day we dispatch by and the estimated delivery date.

When it can take longer

Weather and carrier delays, federal holidays, Alaska, Hawaii and other non-contiguous destinations, and incomplete addresses can all extend transit. We ship by UPS only, so we cannot deliver to PO Boxes or APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. Please double-check your address, including any apartment or suite number, before you check out.

Local delivery

In San Luis Obispo County and the Santa Maria area, we deliver the order ourselves. Same-day items ordered before 3:00 PM Pacific are packed that day and delivered the next business day, and every local order arrives within 2 business days unless it contains a 7-business-day item.

Tracking and problems

If your estimated delivery date has passed, or tracking has not updated for more than 3 business days, email Support@centralcoastpeptides.com with your order number. We will open a trace with the carrier for you.

Storing your order when it arrives

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are stable at room temperature for days to weeks, which covers normal shipping. Once the package arrives, move the vials to cold storage.

• Short term: a refrigerator at about 4 °C works for vials you plan to use soon.
• Long term: −20 °C or colder.
• Always: keep caps tight, vials upright, and the box closed to block light.
• Before opening: let a cold vial reach room temperature while still sealed, so moisture does not condense on the powder.
• After reconstitution: refrigerate at 2 to 8 °C and protect from light. For longer holds, freeze single-use aliquots and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
